I Care… Ambassadors
Do you or do you have staff that have the right values and skills to inspire others to work in care?
Do you have compassionate people that go above and beyond because they have a caring nature?
If you answer yes to any of the above, then we would love to hear from you!
The Wakefield I Care…Ambassador Partnership are always seeking new Ambassadors to join us to support and inspire career choices in Health & Social Care, as a career of choice and to bust the myths that these careers carry with them!
I Care…Ambassadors are a team of health and social care workers with a range of experience who visit schools, colleges, academies and job centres to talk about what it’s really like to work in care. They provide a range of career information and activities to explain the different roles and opportunities within the health and social care sector.
Becoming an I Care…Ambassador is a great way to:
- Share your passion for your work
- Give ‘real life experience’ and examples
- Inspire others to consider working in health and social care as a career of choice
- Develop your own skills and confidence
- Overall, have fun and try something new!
All Ambassadors have a choice of what they are able to support, and the typical commitment is 2-3 days per year.
The Promoting Your Service Poster details more information about what I Care…Ambassadors do and the types of events we are involved in.
