However, some individuals require more support to manage the psychological impacts of Coronavirus and so the following resources have been created to help support the recovery of patients.
The British Psychological Society have produced guidance on meeting the psychological needs of people recovering from severe Coronavirus.
PHE have also released e-learning on Psychological First Aid during COVID-19. This is aimed at all frontline and essential workers and volunteers and aims to raise awareness and confidence on how to help people with different needs to cope with the emotional impact of COVID-19.
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals have created a resource for patients to support them in their recovery, which staff can signpost patients towards.
