New funded IPC training package for social care staff

Skills for Care and the University of Huddersfield, have developed a virtual training package on infection prevention and control aimed at social care staff. This package aims to support staff with their continued professional development, by offering the opportunity to develop an understanding of basic microbiology, how infection prevention and control principles and practices impact on the reduction of infection, and why outbreak and incident management is important.

This training package consists of learning resources and a one-hour webinar, and should take two hours in total to complete.
