Caroline has worked in the local system for over 25 years and very much supports and champions the value of working and residing in Wakefield.
From starting life as a YTS apprentice in local government, she joined Wakefield Health Authority as a trainee Accountant, moving and shaping her career over a variety of fields, incorporating management roles within commissioning, contracting, public health and primary care. Joining the PMO Team and providing a project management function to support the delivery of the People Plan, Caroline welcomes the opportunity to lead on local solutions to support workforce transformation across the health and social care system. With a formal background in integrative counselling, she also champions the value of compassionate leadership, which is integral in the vision of our People Plan.
